I've been working out for about 2 months hardcore. For the last month I've been doing one muscle per day mon chest 24-27 sets tues shoulder 18-21 sets weds back 18-21 sets thurs biceps 18-21 sets fri triceps 18-21 sets sat stomach 21 sets
The rule I follow is 12 reps per set with 1 minute rest between sets. I'm a vegetarian. I can eat fish but no meats. I usually workout at 5:00 pm. I warm up for about 3-5 minutes before the workout. The workout lasts between 45 min and 1:10 hours.
I've notcied gains and I also notice I'm eating around my workout schedule which is something I've never done before. Through all this I am trying to loose weight. I'm 6'0' and 200lbs and using weight training as my means of using daily energy and also focusing on the goal of improving my body.
Now for my questions:
1.How much protein should I be taking in daily? 2.I find myself eating right before wokring out sometimes (because of my daily schedule) and then not being hungry after the workout. I know I need protein after the workout so I drink some skim milk if I'm not in the mood to cook some fish. Should I look into protein shakes to take after workouts. 3. Anybody have any tips?
Appreciate your help.

.8 - 1g per lb of body weight
Yes - skim milk won't cut it protein-wise
I've been told to eat at least an hour before working out

Well, it'll cut it protein-wise if you drink enough, but the problem for post-workout consumption is that it's very slowly absorbed (because the casein curdles in the stomach).
Why? I generally eat immediately before working out.

Paul Anderson (and others) got VERY strong by drinking gallons of milk (and weight lifting).

Remember Bill 'Peanuts' West?? He got big eating peanuts and drinking milk. He got his nickname from th eevrpreent bag of peanuts in his hamd.
My brother adopted the same strategy and put on some major muscle. There was definitely some flab, but it was mostly muscle.
And of course he made his best progress drinking milk straight from the farm. Before it was 'processed'. It was definitely higher in fat tha the store bought product.

But in terms of protein per serving, it would take a helluva lot of milk to compare to a protein powder

A vegetarian who 'can eat fish but no meats,' works out 'hardcore' by spending an hour on one beach muscle per workout, and doesn't work legs. Let me know what you catch. I'd guess it will be mostly newbies and other trolls.

I forgot, he also wants to 'loose' weight. I'm surprised he didn't ask about creatine.

Unless you start exercising your legs you're going to look pretty damn out of proportion soon. I suggest dropping the 'stomach' day and using that as a leg day. Incorporate abs into 2 or 3 other days.
You don't need to 'prepare' fish. Eat tinned tuna. Cottage cheese requires no preparation either.
