A statement by the Israeli Minister of Interior

Eli Yishai, Israeli Interior Minister, recently told the newspaper Ma'ariv: 'I want everyone who is not Jewish not to be in this land. Immigrants are coming who are gentiles, foreign workers are coming, and with the Arabs, they will make this state multicultural. The immigrants who are not Jewish come and build churches. They should stay in their own countries.'

Sounds just like the following:

You know George? A very nice man, jovial and very eloquent. He is a devout Christian, a patriot and a royalist (!) even. He was thrown out of the Conservative opposition party because he favors reintegration of the Christian Church and the state. He holds no office. He does not persecute Jews: there aren't practically any left after the Nazi Occupation in WW II. He does not favor racist policies either because there are no people of race in Greece: the population here is uniformly Caucasian and uniformly Christian. He argues for a stricter implementation of the Schengen Treaty regarding entry of illegal aliens into EU territory, which understandably creates wide sympathy in the constituency. And why not? After all, it's the law.
