Is it good for my arms to do 30 pushups every day when I get a chance? I usually go to the gym about three times a week but lately, with work, I haven't been able to. I was thinking of doing a few pushups everyday (as I do with situps) just so my arms stay in shape. Is that any good?

If you want stamina then yes. I did 200 press ups every day during spec training in the army, t'was great I wouldn't do them that frequently if you're using weights though. I was doing 10x30 with 10 kgs on my back, mon, tue, fri. I found that was overtraining a bit and have reduced to mon, fri with 15kgs. You wanna break a sweat try that

As a note, I found I had to keep doing them with weight to keep the mass, when I reduced to just normal pressups I actually lost some mass in my chest. Just something I found.

I too have a question. I stopped doing push-ups (used to do 30 a day) because I was concerned that building up my pecs would help me develop 'man-boobs'. Is this a falacy? So is it advisable to do push-ups?

Only two things will cause man boob development: excess fat and gynecomastia (which can occur naturally or with steroid abuse or during hormone therapy for gender reassignment)

Bench press/push ups/building muscle do not create man boobs. You can't flex man boobs, you can flex muscle. That's how you can tell the difference if you're REALLY that unsure

Pushups are better than a slap in the face with a dead fish. Put your feet up on something if you can, even up above your head like a handstand pushup but using a wall to steady you. If the resistance that way is too hard to do 30 in a row, break it up in to sets.
