Hi I'm 16 years old and I want to start working out this summer. I am not very muscular but from past experience I do gain muscle fairly quickly and my stamina is good. I have not done any lifting really before, and I want to start building my chest/shoulders/back. There's a gym in my town that's fairly decent I think, but I don't know what to do or where to start. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Going to the gym is probably your best bet. Take advantage of their fitness trainers. Some even have personal trainers available for people who first join the gym and they'll give you one or two free sessions to get you started. If you don't want to pay for PT later on I suggest reading a lot of different material about weight training because you don't want to end up getting hurt or over training, etc.

Tips to remember:
-never work the same muscles on consecutive days-rest a day or two in between
-don't jump into lifting the heaviest just because you can- start easy and increase as you get stronger
-eat lots of protein--follow a well balanced meal plan, but eat about every 2-3 hours and include protein in every meal
-stay well hydrated
-keep reading the blogs, books, and fitness magazines- you will always find new ways of doing certain exercises that target specific muscles

Good luck and come back again to tell us how you're doing!
