Googling and lurking good. Taking action much much better.

It's wrong, but reasonably consistent.

That's probably going to be the hardest to accomplish.

Losing 50 lbs in a year is certainly possible.

Assuming the initial BF% is correct, you now have 155 lbs LBM. Your goal is 180 lbs LBM. Gaining 25 lbs LBM in a year is probably not a realistic goal without drugs. (Also, that ups fat loss to 75 lbs, which is much harder to accomplish if you also want to gain that much LBM; newbie gains aren't that good.)

Real running? (Can you?) Intervals would likely be better (alternate sprints with jogging or even brisk walking).

OK. BTW, the benefit of doing it before breakfast is negligible.

OK.

8 Cals/lb is low, but if you can stand it for a while, fine. Don't try to gain muscle on it, though.

OK (with split like you're doing).

You're better off not taking the flax just then. Protein with carbs would be better for building muscle (or even preserving it).

Taking some of the protein before the workout is good, too.

It basically doesn't matter. Some things are better absorbed with some fat.

I've heard that often, so I'm using it once a week, early morning before taking anything in, and after eveything that can be out is out.

I knew I was missing something! Thanks! Got a tape measure on my way home last night.

I did ECA a while back mixing the old-formula Thermadrene and caffeinated Green Tea, worked pretty good without the jitters. Gotta say though, since I started eating this way I feel the same kind of effect, so I'm staying away from anything else.

Thanks for the help!

Feels much better too!

So I hear... inaccurate but precise.

If it were 'only' 50....

Yeah... I had done that nasty math and saw that... but was hoping the newbie stuff would help a bit more. I am going to concentrate more on getting rid of the fat regardless, just making sure to lose as little muscle as possible. Ideally, gaining some. Ok, so add a year, and I'll definitely be there. A year from now though I'll probably be something more like 200lb and 18%, I can live with that.

One benefit for me is not burping up that nasty multivitamin stench as I run. That's about it...

I was wondering about that... so although I'm eating enough protein per pound in the 2000 calories, there's still a chance of not gaining? I was under the impression that I just needed my adequate amount (body weight x grams) of protein and then EFA's and some good carbs and I'd be out of that danger. No?

Take it all in the morning too then?

OK, I guess I can see why.

So all the flaxseed in the morning it is then...

Hey, thanks a lot!

Why? To have half a dozen 'shorter' posts asking questions on what I missed to state? Wasting much more time/bandwidth than just being thorough in a single post...

Ok.. ok... I concede...

Remove the sentence I wrote immediately after writing 'That's it!' in my original post... it doesn't apply to you.

Thanks for the tip!
