hey all
I just turned 20 and I am 6'0...I want to start lifting weights again...I bought some Designer Protein over the net and I just bought a weider set:barbell 2 dumbells enough for 160 pounds. I weigh a horrible 130?maybe?I want to bulk up, i just came back from Europe, and they don't know how to eat over there, I lost A LOT of weight. I really would like to put on some muscle(before i left for Germany I actually had a pretty nice chest and arms) I would really like to get that again...
My question is how much protein from this Designer Protein should I do?
it has 17.5 g of protein per scoop, i've been doing some reading around here, should I try to match my body weight?like 2 scoops 3 times a day maybe?I don't want to over do anything and hurt myself.
I just got back from GNC, and the guy was telling me something about how Designer Protein isn't good for people who are A positive(like myself)...is this true?my mom is an RN and i asked her, she had no clue...he also told me coffee is healthy for me, but not for him because he's O+...help me out here guys?is this guy on crack?or is he on the money?
thanks for taking the time to read

Start with the see-food diet: when you see food, eat it.
You won't hurt yourself, just spend money unnecessarily. Try to get something greater than 100 grams of protein per day through your diet (plus supplementation, as required). Having a protein supplement around will make that easier to do.
See, here's what happened: you wandered into GNC and were unwittingly confronted by a moron who knew nothing about nutrition.
