I dunno why but my chest has always been a lagging part. I gotta do something about it but I am not sure why I spend months on the same weight plateau.

i need advice on plateau busting and growth. here's my typical workout. 3 sets of 8, 8 & 6 reps respectively for barbell bench press, incline dumbell bench press and chest dips. So that's 9 sets for the chest.

I hit the chest twice a week and on those days, my back is exercised as well. I always hit my chest first, and then move on to the back exercises.

I do the exact same three exercises, but how do you do them all one after the other and still do them justice? I space mine, ie bench, pulldowns/chins, incline bench, rows, dips.. Something like that might give you a chance to recover so you can have a better go at the 2nd and 3rd set that hits your chest.

Just a suggestion - my comments are in no way an indication I know what I'm talking about...
