drink some water with tons of added salt to it. This will draw water into your muscles to fill them up and also lubricate your joints. (Remember, this is a bench meet, not a bodybuilding show so it doesn't matter if you look like a bloated whale) You can also drink water laced with glycerol which will also hydrate the muscle. A full muscle is stronger than a flat one.
