I just read an article in the magazine Men's Health. They said that eating a raw egg including the yolk has the best biological value of protein. My question is since the amount of protein in an egg is aproximately 2.6-3.0 grams. How many eggs should I consume if I wan't to moderately weight train. Egg protein is supposed to be much more potent than whey and soy proteins. I also heard that 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight is a daily recommended dosage. I am 6'0,

The biological value of egg protein, cooked or raw, is very good, but so is the biological value of whey protein and various other sources.

No it isn't: it's 6.3 grams for a 50 gram large egg.

Well, if you only ate eggs, you should eat about 32 per day. This will not make you popular in the gym, however.

Nah.

Something like that.

I've never heard of anyone who was anti-whey before.

You'd be wrong. The biological value of whey protein is higher than that of eggs.

Whatever.

I thought raw eggs should not be eaten because of the danger of salmonella.

Have health professionals changed their mind on this matter?

As long as you buy organic eggs you are ok. The risk is probably equal to that of being struck by lightning.

Keep in mind that campaigning for IOM invalidates a nomination.

Area 51 is a short drive from my home, so I know their biochemistry is different. And you can expect a hearty nomination from me.

Please explain why 'organic eggs' are less prone to salmonella contamination than whatever the opposite of 'organic eggs' is?

Given that Whey is food, does this mean you are anti food? Yeah, what are all those scientists compared to your opinion?

Looks like we have a fun one here. In the Coolboarder's world, math works somewhat differently making 17 grams somewhat less than 6 grams.
