'One study has shown that performing two 15-minute aerobic exercise sessions a day produce a much higher EPOC reading than one 30-minute session. In this study diet and exercise intensity were carefully controlled so that all were equal. The two shorter aerobic workouts boosted EPOC readings (metabolic rate) 40% higher than the once a day work out! Therefore, according to these results, you can dramatically increase the fat burning potential of your workouts simply by splitting your cardio session into two separate sessions.

Isn't the EPOC very small after regular cardio / aerobics so even if you could rise it by 40% it wouldn't make a big difference because you would still only be burning maybe 20-30 extra calories?
