I've recently gotten back into using the weights after about a two year lay off. I'm a porker. Now getting back into my routine and naturally would like to hasten positive results. I have had good results using creatine in the past. I'm wondering what impact creatine use would have in my present condition.

Thanks for your help.

If you used it before, your results will likely be the same this time. It is not neccessary though. Just eat less and lift more.

I wish. The first time I used creatine, it worked like gangbusters. The second time, it didn't work at all. I suspect that's because of improvements in my diet, but can't know for sure.

Good result w/creatine? How so? I think that if you prioritize your training on one goal you will definitely have better results than if you have a mixed approach. That you said you are a porker....What does that mean to you? Often people here exaggerate one way or the other. What is your First goal? Strength, hypertrophy, body recomposition?

2 years off? That's a hell of a strategic deconditioning phase (read about hypertrophy specific training)

Yes, I believe I have redefined the term.

What I will do is apply the basics of good health: decent diet, arobic exercise and resistance trainiing. I have had great results with creatine in the past, but I will hold off until I build a strong base.

Thanks for all your help.
