After following a ketogenic diet for about two months (with moderate success), I fell off the wagon... completly. The last six weeks have been all about refined carbs... chips, ice cream, fast food, ice cream, starbucks, etc. Anyway, after a personal intervention, I managed to get off the sugar train.

I went into the gym for the first time tonight and weighed in. I almost fell over. I am a full twenty pounds more than my last weigh in. I thought that the scale must have been wrong, but when I weighed in on the gym bathroom scale, it was the same.

Jesus, is it physically possible to gain that much weight? I realize that alot of it is water, but still...

I'm eating cottage cheese and pears as I write.

Twenty pounds in six weeks after two months of dieting?

Hell yes. No problem at all.

Could've been worse. Good luck getting back with your program.

20 pounds in six weeks? Hell, I've put that much on in six hours. Don't worry about it Kilgore... just get back on a program of nutrition and exercise and it will come off quick.
