Been using this program for a few weeks now; http://www.t-mag.com/html/body_118gvt.html (short summary; 10 sets of up to 10 reps, 60 sec breaks, 60% of max 1RM weight).

and I'm pretty convinced it works out, I've never had this much pain i my muscles before.. but does that automaticly mean that it will be a program that works best? The goal of the program is ofcourse volume training, so I'm curious what others think of it in that regard. I'm so far impressed with it, I get really really good workouts with it.. but due to the low number of weights you use (60% of 1RM), I'm also a bit sceptical, it's kinda funny to lift that little for all the sets, normally I've been lifting for max 6 reps on 6-7 sets.

I could beat you with a hammer. Would that mean it was a good workout?

but does that automaticly mean that it will be a program

You'll get drastically increased glycogen and water content, giving the illusion of massive growth. Probably some real (increased protein) growth too. Good break for the joints and connective tissues when you've been training heavy all the time.

I'm currently doing a slightly modified GVT program...5x5 program. My strength is going through the roof. Basically, if I get all 5 sets w/ 5 reps, then I up the weight 10lbs. If not, I repeat next week at the same
