I'm a simple guy. I like to go heavy as much as possible. No HST, cycling etc. My goals are just staying healthy & strong BTW No specialisation..

Anyway, (and this sounds a bit obvious) but if I just focus on heavy sets with 2-4 reps. my endurance goes up for lower weights. (well duh?) So what kind of advantage does all the HST, cycling stuff buy me if I'm not a body builder or doing a particular sport. Psycologically I hate 10-12 rep sets and me I guess the cons outweigh the pros as I'm still getting stronger and my endurance goes up for lower weights at the moment.

I'm also about 3/4 meso 1/4 endo. Although that last quarter seems to have grown lately.

You're confusing two different things. Periodisation doesn't mean that you need to push into the 'pain zone' with hard sets of 10-12. If you're primarily interested in limit strength, and/or you'd rather not push well into the lactic acid zone during each workout, read up on some powerlifting programs.
