Hi,
I'm more the person who is slim (66kg) and doesn't get too muscular. I do fitness training for about 1 year now. Maybe someone eith more knowledge than me can give me hints & advices ?
I wonder what would be better, taking a protein powder after training or these amino drinks.
As far as I read, Amino are more or less the proteins already split so that the body can absorbe it faster while with protein powder the body has to first split it into aminos.
So, when the aminos are absorbed faster by the body and they arem ore or less doing the same than protein powder, why are people still using the powder ?
Do muscles go away faster when nottaking the aminos than taking protein ?
Overall, when I get some muscles during taking the powder (I planned to take it only after the training one drink) and I stop using the powder but still train do the muscles shrink to the state before or do I keep the status withthe same training ?
Are liquid aminos better than non-liquid ?
I think the protein powders do also contain carbos, so is something like that better for a slim person than only aminos ?
Overall, I think taking a protein powder drink is not 'cheating' because I take protein and carbos like from food but more concentraded like taking a Vitamin C tablet when I have a cold. Do I see that right ? Are aminos also in the non-cheating range ?
While I want to get more muscle mass, I want to stay clean not taking any of these questionable thinks...
Any help would be very much appreciated !!!
Many Thanks

Sorry, protein powder is considered cheating here.
Don't know about aminos though.

Read the following discussion. One of the participants, Kevin Tipton is coauthor or some of the amino acid studies:

Proteins with no amino acids in them don't process very well, duh.

I think its much easier to measure 1gram of protein per pound of lean muscle than to figure out how much aminos to take.
