Will weight training the chest be a good method to lose male breasts or should I focus on general cardiovascular exercise? The thing is cardio has really done nothing to eliminate my breasts while my legs and gut gets smaller. However I am really weak on the bench press (max 130). Neither wieghts nor exercise has really done too much. What can I do? Also I am 18 and 5'11' weighing about 150 pounds. I have a small gut and skinny legs and arms but nasty looking breasts.

Some of this could be genetics. But I would probably focus on pushups, elevated pushups, inclined barbell or dumbbell press, dumbbell flyes and dips.

Pumping up your chest is going to take some time, snap some pictures, work a month and compare.

As I posted before -

I dunno about reducing man boobs through lifting, but some literature suggests avoiding decline bench and flat bench presses to _avoid_ droopy pecs as you age. Flat benches, if you must do them, might be done for very low reps and low sets. Do inclines instead.

By an elevated push up do you mean my feet are elevated or my hands are? Also, will doing incline bench press still make me strong as the flat one will? At my gym the flat bench press is a lot more popular than the incline one. And should I do dumbbell flys on an incline or flat?

He means your feet are elevated. Basically, the idea is that with the incline bench vs. the flat bench you're working your upper pecs rather than central/lower. Decline bench is supposed to emphasize lower pecs.

However, the amount of incline doesn't need to be much - say about 30-45 degrees or you'll do more for your shoulders than your chest. I think 45 is too much, usually go for 30-35deg. myself.

He would mean where your feet are elevated.
