I'm looking to buy an exercise machine to get a full body workout. My wife would also like to use the machine (if possible) to help her lose her 'belly'. She does aerobics but would really like to try a machine. Any recommendations on a machine that I can use to gain muscle but won't overwhelm my wife?

Just so you know this is ACTUAL advice, and if you (and your wife) read everything on that site, you will be much much more likely to buy correct stuff.

One (1) barbell, 20 lb.

miscellaneous plates, perhaps:

4 X 25 lb. 4 X 10 lb. 4 X 5 lb. 4 X 2.5 lb.

Go to the usual suspects' web sites (google is your friend!) for routines.

Y'r welcome
