The guy puts a loaded 12 guage shotgun on the ground next to an English Setter puppy, and then goes downrange of the muzzle.

The brilliant dog was simply trying to eliminate a too-stupid-to-live human. Good dog!

Everybody knows feisty puppies don't have the muscular coordination or breath control to aim a long arm well. It did the best it could. Good puppy <scratch, pat>.

The English are lousy shots in general, and puppies are notorious for recoil anticipation.
