I don“t use any simple carbs after training, maltodextrin and sacarose is all I use, around 1-1,2 g/kg body weight totaly with the major part maltodextrin. I notice that my body recovers better if I pay attention to aftertraing feeding.

Thanks for the information..... What dietary products do you take which contain those types of carbs?

They're composed of maltodextrin.

I use OJ. About 20 minutes prior to the workout I have OJ and whey protein. I repeat immediately following the workout. Then in about an hour I have regular foods high in protein.

You can buy a bucket of pure complex carbs (100% maltodextrin) pretty cheap. One tablespoon is about 10 grams of carbs and can easily be tossed into a post-workout shake. You can get around 350 tablespoons' worth for 20 bucks.

I thought the major ingredient was maltodextrin, followed by dextrose?

I always thought bottlecaps were aluminum or something.
