Hi guys, ya it's me again with the pullups...

Well, like I said, working out now w/ a new routine 4 days/week. M-F, Wed off. Hitting everything 2x/week. Legs basically 1x or bi-weekly. I'm proportionate.

Question: For back, I will be focusing only doing pull-up negatives to get stronger. I can really only do 1 clean pull-up (palms facing forward, out). Since I'm not doing any other back workout, what do you guys think about doing my pull-up workouts everyday, except Sat and Sun? Is this too much.. maybe slight overtraining? I mean to include this along with the rest of my body exercises throughout the week? I have the feeling this might hinder recovery. Pull-ups include so much to accomplish properly. Arms, etc...

Well, it depends. Negatives tend to take more time to recover from so 4 times a week might be too much, but if you're really not doing any other back work and you keep the volume low, it might not. Why not give it a try for a few weeks and see how your progress is?

Sounds good, and I am gonna do just that.. in fact.. I'll do that today.. tomorrow I'm only gonna have time for chest anyway.... Gold's gym here I come. heck I'll throw in some ab work for today.. can't HURT..

BTW, if I may ask.. just curious.... what training level are you? Or maybe I should ask other things first, like: you are bodybuilder, runner, etc..?

Like Pat said, it wouldn't hurt to try it, but I'd limit the pullups to 1 submaximal set.
