Hi all, I'm a 39 year old paraplegic (I've been paralyzed for 15 years) and I spent most of the past year in the hospital. When I came home a Few months ago, I was horrified at how much upper body strength I lost. I used to be strong, climbing into my jeep (with a 2 1/2' lift) wasn't a problem. I had a Physical Therapist coming out,I was working out with 5 lb dumb bells and I gained some of my strength back. My problem is my forearm/elbow is real sore on my right arm. Every day for the past few weeks, it just throbs, getting out of bed and wheeling around the house seems to irritate It worst. QUESTION: Do I ignore the pain and continue trying to build my arms back or should I stay in bed completely for a while until my arm heals completely? I have arms the size of a 12 year old!I NEED my buff arms back, what is the best way get my strength back? Thanks For Any Advice, JKevin

What arm exercises are/were you using? There's a good chance you can just keep working out but use different exercises.
