Currently I'm using the Sheiko Beginner 1 program to develop my base strength. I do this in conjunction with my workouts for my combat sport/martial arts (Pekiti Tirsia Kali/Dog Brothers Martial Arts). It feels good, and I'll do some testing after I'm finished to see how I'm progressing. I'm thinking I'll do the Beginner 2 program after as well.
However, after that, I'd like to move on to something a little more sport specific.
Book suggestions would be very welcome. I'd be interested in seeing how Wrestlers approach strength training since the attributes they need are very simliar to what I need.
Any suggestions on what type of exercises I should be looking at would also be appreciated.
Many thanks,

Charle's Staley's 'The Science of Martial Arts Training' and Matt Furey's 'Combat Conditioning' are both worth reading.
