I need to get into shape and lose a little. I have excess skin? around my stomach, my abs have gotten harder but I dont know how to lose that extra around them. Please help..

Are you going to a gym?

It will help to know if you plan on exercising by yourself or choose some guided option such as a course or visiting the gym.

i just recently got a gym membership which ill be goingto and it has classes as well

The best thing is to get one session with a trainer at the gym to instruct you which workout equipment to use and how.
As for the classes try taking martial art or Yoga as they are very helpful in shaping the body, in addition running, or fast walking is always a good idea.
