I have a question for you people. If you've been weight training consistently during a long period of time and lets say you get injured. You then stop doing any kind of exercise for lets say a three month period, eat above maintenance and consequently gain weight. Would this weight be mostly fat?

I'm curious cause this happened to me recently. At injury time, I was weighing 180lbs with around 11% boy fat. Right before i resumed weight training i was weighing 187lbs and ??% body fat. The week i started training i came up weighing 191lbs and I've been on that weight ever since. Even though i can now notice alot more muscle than when i resumed training.

Got lazy with those fat calipers i guess, gotta start using them again.

It depends on a lot of things (i.e. what you ate, genetics, etc).

Probably, you gained mostly fat with some muscle.
