Hi,

Ive been reading in various different websites etc that working out in the morning before you eat can be more beneficial (especially for weight loss?). Now, my question is does this actually mean morning (ie AM) or morning (as in *your* body's morning)? I ask this because i usually go to bed areound 3am and get up around midday so i dont really experience the morning as in AM. I do however do my wourkout just after i get up. Sorry if i put that a funny way! And sorry for cross posting (thought maybe there would be different viewpoints for the diff types of excercise)

Yes,your morning would be the morning, personally,I couldnt lift a weight until i was awake for at least 3 hours.

Even if morning/pre-food cardio has an effect compared to doing it at other times, it is minor under most circumstances.

More important is that the cardio gets done. Other factors are purely secondary.

Basically, don't worry about it.

Thank you! uni during day, and the 3 times a week i work are in the evening. Im currently doing weights in the house when i get up and will continue throught the summer, when i get back to uni ill be back at the gym there. So thank you everyone for all the answers. I think ill just excercise and thats all that matters!
